Computer anaesthesia is nothing like a traditional injection. The method involves gentle insertion of the anaesthetic solution using a special tip under the control of a computer system. It is slowly and gently introduced into the tissues, which are already anaesthetized on an ongoing basis – its tip is surrounded by anaesthetic fluid all the time. The program controls the pressure with which anaesthesia is administered – the fluid is applied at a speed that allows the tissues to absorb it immediately, which reduces the negative feelings caused by their spreading.
